Stantiall Studio is an award-winning architectural illustration and visualisation studio based in Wellington, New Zealand. For over 25 years, we’ve partnered with architects, landscape designers, and developers across New Zealand and internationally, creating high-quality perspectives, artist impressions, urban plans, and landscape visualisations that bring projects to life.

(Principal) B.Arch, NZIA, ASAI
Ian is a registered architect and renowned illustrator, celebrated for his classic architectural drawing style developed over more than 20 years in the industry. Prior to founding Stantiall Studio, Ian spent two decades working with the prestigious Athfield Architects, where he honed his skills in both architectural practice and visual storytelling. His illustrations reflect a rare blend of technical expertise and artistic nuance, and he continues to collaborate closely with architects and landscape designers across a wide range of projects.
Art Director and Studio Manager
Chrissy brings a diverse creative background to the studio, spanning real estate, property management, marketing, hospitality, theatre, TV, and film. As co-founder, Studio Manager, and Art Director, she plays a vital role in shaping the studio’s direction, both visually and operationally. A dedicated oil painter and printmaker for over 20 years, Chrissy’s personal work has been exhibited and collected in New Zealand and internationally. She also holds directorships within the design and property sectors, bringing business insight and artistic sensibility to every project.
